Here is Anne Moore's latest letter:
Greetings to you all from Kisiizi,
The dry season is just coming to an end. Although that means rain it
is very welcome for the crops. Pray that they will grow well.
The hospital generally is quieter than it has been. Malaria has abated
slightly but we now have measles. This is rather worrying as for the
past few years we have seen no cases. That means 5 cases is an
epidemic. Pray for the children and that we will be able to contain it
and prevent the spread.
Please pray also for a tiny baby of Kesande. She is less than a week
old and weighs only 1.3kg. Her mother died yesterday.
Give thanks for the visit of Pat Moss who has come to help some of the
staff who are studying for their "O" levels. Early in August we will
be having some holiday together. Pray that will be a relaxing time for
both of us.
In the Tuesday Fellowship we are studying the creed in an attempt to
help people to know what we believe. Pray that these will be helpful
sessions.
Much love to you all from Ann |
